[Adopted 5-13-1970 as Sec. 2-20 of the 1970 Revised General Ordinances (Ch. 41 of the 1992 Code)]
There shall be a General Assessment Board to make all assessments for benefits accruing from local improvements pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 152 of the Pamphlet Laws of 1917, as amended and supplemented (N.J.S.A. 40:56-21 et seq.).[1]

The Board shall consist of three members, and each member shall be a resident and freeholder of the Borough.
The members of the Board shall be appointed and their compensation determined by resolution of the Council, and they shall hold office until their successors are appointed.
