Chickens, ducks, geese or other fowl, rabbits, pigeons, bees and pigs shall not be kept for domestic use within the Borough.
The provisions of § 396-31 of this article shall not apply to the following:
A. 
The keeping of any of said animals, poultry, fowl or insects by a school or university under laboratory control.
B. 
The keeping of European honeybees (Apis mellifera), which are regulated pursuant to Article VIII, Apiaries.

C. 
The keeping, in a suitable house or coop with an enclosed runway, of carrier pigeons for which a permit has been secured from this Board. Such permit will be issued upon the satisfactory report of an inspection by the Sanitary Inspector or Health Officer and the payment of the prescribed fee.

The fee for the issuance of a permit for carrier pigeons shall be as set forth in § 396-10.
No part of any coop or house erected or utilized pursuant to the provisions of § 396-32C of this article shall be less than 75 feet from the doors or windows of any building occupied by human beings, whether for dwelling or business purposes.
No person shall keep chickens, ducks, geese or other fowl for commercial purposes without first obtaining a license to do so.
Any person who shall be found guilty of violating this article shall be subject to a penalty as set forth in Article XI, Violations and Penalties, of this chapter.
