Any contractor receiving funding from the County of Suffolk, either directly or indirectly, shall file a transcript of its original payroll for the pertinent municipal construction project with the Prevailing Wage Enforcement Unit within the County Department of Public Works within 30 days after its first payroll, and every 30 days thereafter, said transcripts to be subscribed and affirmed as true under penalty of perjury.
The County Department of Public Works shall preserve such records on file for at least three years subsequent to the completion of the pertinent construction project.
The County of Suffolk Architect shall submit written notice of prevailing wage laws and schedules to any contractor and/or landlord of a building that is receiving any information regarding County construction specifications, design details or needs for a future tenancy or license agreement by the County of Suffolk.
No County lease or license agreement for the use and occupancy of space in a non-County-owned building, entered into on or after the effective date of this article, shall be binding unless the contractor has signed an agreement to pay prevailing wage rates that conforms with § 1173-1 of this article.
