[Adopted 3-23-1937 (Ch. 59, Art. I, of the 1974 Code); amended in its entirety at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]
No contractor or any employee or employees of the contractor nor any other person authorized by the Borough Council of the Borough of Westville to collect garbage and other animal and vegetable refuse shall, in the course of such employment, negligently or carelessly distribute or cause to be distributed any garbage or other animal and vegetable refuse in and along any of the streets, highways or public places of the Borough of Westville.
No garbage or other animal and vegetable refuse shall be deposited, thrown or placed upon any lots or pieces of ground, streets, alleys, highways or other public places in the Borough of Westville.
No person shall throw, cast, place or deposit or cause to be thrown, cast, placed or deposited or allow to run or flow into the Delaware River or Big Timber Creek any garbage or other animal and vegetable refuse.
Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be punishable as set forth in Chapter 1, Article I, § 1-15, General penalty. The continuation of such violation for each successive day shall constitute a separate offense, and the person or persons allowing or permitting the continuation of the violation may be punished as provided above for each separate offense.
