The following activities are hereby prohibited: the performance
of any building or road construction, remodeling, demolition, excavation
or trenching or the operation of any heavy equipment or trucks in
connection therewith at any time on a Sunday or legal holiday, or
on any other day of the year at any time between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00
a.m. unless performed with a special permit authorized by the Council.
The aforesaid special permit shall be issued only if it is determined
that an exigent situation requires said permit or if it is determined
that the activity can be performed in such a manner or in such place
that the public or neighboring residents will not be annoyed or disturbed
by such activity. Any person acting in noncompliance with this article
shall immediately cease and desist said activity upon request of the
Crescent Township Police Department.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this article shall,
upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not more than
$600 and/or be imprisoned for a term not to exceed 10 days.
