1989-18 (Ch. 61, Art. V, of the 1995 Code)]
The Township Committee hereby creates the position of Chief
Finance Officer, who shall be appointed by the Township Committee
for one year to serve a term commencing January 1 and expiring December
31 of the year. In the event of a vacancy for any lawful reason, i.e.,
resignation, death or removal, the Township Committee shall, for the
unexpired term, fill said vacancy. The Chief Finance Officer shall
possess the qualifications as established by state law. The Township
Treasurer shall be the Chief Finance Officer unless otherwise designated
by the Township Committee.
