For brevity and ease of communication, this article may be cited
as the Town of LeRay Sewer Use Law.
The purpose of this article is to provide for the maximum possible
beneficial public use of the Town wastewater facilities and prevent
public health problems through regulation of sewer construction, sewer
use and wastewater discharges. This article shall also provide for
procedures for complying with the requirements contained herein and
penalties for violation thereof. The provisions of this article shall
apply to the discharge of all wastewater facilities to the Town. This
article provides for use of the Town wastewater facilities, regulation
of sewer construction, control and assurance that existing customers'
capacity will not be preempted, approval of sewer construction, construction
plans, separate contracts for significant industrial users, minimum
sewer connection standards and conditions, and penalties and other
procedures in cases of violation of this article.
