[Adopted 4-6-1954 by Ord. No. 195 (Ch. 1, Part 4C, of the
1999 Code of Ordinances)]
A Shade Tree Commission is hereby created in and for the Borough
of West Mifflin. The said Commission shall be constituted as provided
by law and shall perform all the duties and may exercise all the powers
conferred by law upon borough shade tree commissions.

Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any regulation
of the Shade Tree Commission lawfully established pursuant to Section
2721 et seq. of the Borough Code, 53 P.S. § 47721 et seq.,
shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to a fine not to exceed
$600, plus costs, and, in default of payment of said fine and costs,
to a term of imprisonment not to exceed 30 days. In addition thereto,
and not in lieu thereof, the Shade Tree Commission may assess penalties
for violation of its regulations in accordance with the procedure
established in Section 2721 et seq. of the Borough Code, 53 P.S. § 47721
et seq.
