Proceedings for securing review and/or appeal of any ordinance,
decision, determination or order of the governing body, its agencies
or officers adopted pursuant to this chapter shall be in strict accordance
with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Municipal Planning Code Act
of 1968, P.L. 805, No. 247, as amended.
In case any building, structure or land is, or is proposed to
be, erected, constructed, reconstructed, altered, repaired, converted,
maintained or used in violation of this chapter, the governing body,
or with their approval the Zoning Officer, in addition to other remedies,
may institute in the name of the Borough any appropriate action or
proceedings to prevent, restrain, correct or abate such building,
structure or use in or about such premises, or any act, conduct, or
business constituting a violation.
Should any section or provision of this chapter be declared
by the courts to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision shall
not affect the validity of this chapter as a whole or any part thereof
other than the part so decided to be unconstitutional or invalid.
Ordinance No. 928, enacted December 19, 2000, as amended, is
hereby expressly repealed and all other existing ordinances or parts
of ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby expressly repealed
to the extent necessary to give this chapter full force and effect.
This chapter shall become effective immediately upon enactment.
The Zoning Map, for purposes of district identification, shall
be the Zoning Map adopted as part of this chapter and posted in the
Offices of the Borough and Borough Zoning Officer. Any reproductions,
reductions or copies of said map shall be for information purposes
only. Amendments to the Zoning Map shall be made by ordinance and
a new Zoning Map prepared within 30 days of said amendment.
