There shall be a Department of the Borough known as the Engineering
Department, responsible for the records, tracking, cataloging, mapping
and measuring of public works of the Borough.
For the purposes of this Code, the term Borough Engineer shall
mean any licensed engineer appointed for any purpose by the Borough
to conduct engineering work associated with the public works of the
Borough; any member of the Engineering Department so qualified to
conduct engineering work; the Land Use and Development Director of
the Borough of Chambersburg or the Borough Manager or his designee,
so qualified to conduct engineering work.
