No person, partnership, corporation, company, firm or other
entity of any kind or nature shall sell, give, lend, permit or otherwise
facilitate any person under the age of 18 years to possess and/or
use any tobacco product, including, but not limited to, cigarettes,
cigars, pipe tobacco, chewing tobacco and snuff.
No person under the age of 18 years shall use or possess any
tobacco product within the Borough of Trainer.
A.Â
Any person under the age of 18 years found to be using or possessing
any tobacco product shall, on the first offense, receive a written
warning, and a notification shall be made to the parent(s) or guardian(s)
of such minor person.
B.Â
Any subsequent violation of any part of this chapter by a person
under the age of 18 years shall be punishable by a fine of not less
than $25 and not greater than $300, and notification shall be made
to the parent(s) or guardian(s) of said minor person.
C.Â
Any person, partnership, corporation, company, firm or other entity
of any kind or nature found to have or attempted to have sold, given
or lent tobacco products to, or in any way facilitated the use or
possession of tobacco products by, any person under the age of 18
years shall be subject to a fine of not less than $25 nor greater
than $300.
