A Police Department is hereby established in and for the Borough
of Muncy, to consist of a Chief of Police and as many full-time and/or
part-time patrolmen as the Borough Council shall from time to time
authorize. The Chief of Police shall be the chief executive of the
Police Department. He shall, under the direction of the Mayor, be
in charge of the Police Department and have supervision over its members,
in the exercise of their powers, duties and authority.
