The rate of compensation for the office of Commissioner in North
Versailles Township is set at $3,250 per year.
This rate of compensation shall only be applicable to persons elected for terms of office to commence on January 1, 1996, and thereafter. Hereinafter, when persons take office as North Versailles Township Commissioners, they shall be entitled to the rate set forth in § 10-2 above. A person who is presently sitting as Township Commissioner with an unexpired term shall not be entitled to receive an increase in the rate of compensation for and during the present term of his or her office. If such person is reelected, then that person may receive the rate of compensation set forth in this article.
