The electors of the Town shall be entitled to vote for the full
number of members of the Board of Assessment Appeals to be elected
at ensuing municipal elections as authorized by C.G.S. § 9-199.

Pursuant to C.G.S. § 9-198, effective upon the expiration
of the term of the incumbent Assessor or upon earlier vacancy in that
office, the Office of Assessor shall become an appointive office,
such appointment to be made by the Board of Selectmen. The terms of
all appointed personnel shall be fixed terms of two years or less
to coincide with the term of office of the Board of Selectmen.
