The Borough Council of the Borough of Wilmerding hereby establishes
a Planning Commission hereinafter consisting of seven members appointed
by Borough Council.

A.
The members of the Planning Commission shall serve a term of four
years, except that the terms of the members first appointed pursuant
to this chapter shall be so fixed that no more than two members shall
be reappointed or replaced during any future calendar year.
B.
It is acknowledged that the existing Commission, consisting of five
members, is composed as follows with terms expiring as indicated:

C.
When Council fills the expired terms of those identified above, the
new appointees named will have terms which expire on December 31,
2006.
D.
For the two new members to be named, the terms will expire only for
the first appointment on December 31, 2005. Thereafter, such persons
will be appointed to four-year terms.
E.
Hereinafter, all appointments shall be made by simple resolution.
The Chairman of the Planning Commission shall promptly notify
the Borough Council when a vacancy occurs on the Planning Commission,
and such vacancy shall be filled by Borough Council for the unexpired
term only.
