Editor's Note: This local law repealed former Ch. 46, Art.
I, Justice Court Clerk, adopted 5-9-2006 by L.L. No. 1-2006.
IIt is the purpose and intent of this article to specifically
supersede and override the provisions of § 3 of the Public
Officers Law and § 3-300(2) of the Village Law of the State
of New York and to permit all appointed officers of the Village of
Wesley Hills to reside in any town or village within Rockland County.
Notwithstanding the provisions of § 3 of the Public
Officers Law and § 3-300(2) of the Village Law, the Justice
Court Clerk, Village Clerk, Deputy Village Clerk, Treasurer, Deputy
Treasurer and Acting Village Justice may reside within any town or
village within Rockland County.
