(a)
Departments, etc. The City departments, agencies,
authorities and offices previously existing at the time the City's
Charter was originally adopted in 1987 shall be continued as constituted
on the effective date of this Charter to the extent they have not
since been changed or abolished pursuant to this Charter or by ordinance.
(b)
Boards, commissions. The City boards and commissions
previously existing at the time the City's Charter was originally
adopted in 1987 shall remain in effect to the extent they have not
since been changed or abolished pursuant to this Charter or by ordinance.
All appointments and promotions of City Officers and employees
shall be made in compliance with the Personnel Code of the City of
Richmond Heights, as it may be amended from time to time.
