Section 100.150 Smoking Policy.

A. No person shall smoke any cigarette, cigar, pipe or other tobacco product in any building owned by the City of Platte City.

B. Signs with the words "NO SMOKING" or words similar thereto, or the international "NO SMOKING" symbol consisting of a pictorial representation of a burning cigarette enclosed within a red circle with a red diagonal bar through it, shall be erected prominently within each building owned by the City of Platte City.

C. Any person convicted of violating Subsection (A) of this Section shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not less than twenty-five dollars ($25.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100.00).
