Each building to which a street number has been assigned shall
display such number on the background of contrasting color in a position
easily observed and readable from the public right-of-way (which shall
include the marking of driveways or freestanding mailboxes where conditions
necessitate). All numbers shall be in Arabic numerals at least three
inches high and one-half-inch stroke.
It shall be the obligation of the owners of the property to
which the numbers are being assigned to comply with the standards
set by this chapter and the proper officers of the Borough of Greenville.
A properly verified copy of the address numbering system shall
be reported and delivered by municipality to the proper officers of
the Mercer County Enhanced 911.
Failure of a property owner to comply with this chapter shall
constitute a summary offense and shall subject said owner to a fine
not to exceed $300.
