[HISTORY: Adopted by the Borough Council of the Borough of Kenhorst 10-1-1987 by Ord. No. 396 (Ch. 11, Part 4, of the 1973 Code of Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]
GENERAL REFERENCES

Streets and sidewalks — See Ch. 404.
This chapter shall be known as the "Kenhorst Borough Skate Board Ordinance."
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT
Any equipment used for recreational purposes which shall include, but not be limited to, scooters, roller blades, roller skates, basketball posts and nets, hockey nets, hockey boxes and ramps.

SKATEBOARD
Any wooden, metal or plastic board on one side of which is affixed two or more wheels and which is used for coasting and is guided by the distribution of weight of the user.
Immediately upon the enactment of this chapter, it shall be illegal for anyone to operate a skateboard or boards on the public streets and sidewalks of the Borough of Kenhorst.

Immediately upon enactment of this chapter, it shall be illegal for anyone to operate any type of recreational equipment on the public streets and sidewalks of the Borough of Kenhorst.
Any person or persons violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article I, Enforcement; General Penalty, of this Code.
