No person shall utter any offensive or profane or indecent language; do any obscene or indecent act; throw stones or other objects; annoy, obstruct, molest or interfere with any person; interfere with, encumber, obstruct or render dangerous any drive, street, path, walk or public place; loiter or create a disturbance while under the influence of intoxicating liquor; do any act tending or amounting to a breach of the peace; assault any person; play any illegal games of chance, use, take or operate any gaming machine, gaming table or instrument; use or have in his or her possession or be under the influence of any controlled dangerous substance; spit upon any walk, street, path, crossing or the floors of any structure, bridge, platform or stairway; cast, throw or deposit on any walk, street, crossing, path, safety zone, floor or parkway surface any litter; enter upon any portion of the Borough's parks in disregard of signs or posted notices forbidding the same; or fail to obey or interfere with an officer in the proper performance of his or her duties while in the Borough of Wallington.
It shall also be unlawful for any person or persons to assemble in any street, public place or public halls of the Borough of Wallington, or be upon the streets, sidewalks, steps or platforms, or any store, business, house, park, church or railroad station, bus or other conveyance, or within or around any building, dwelling house, office, place of business, factory or private or public place within the Borough and behave in a disorderly manner, by noisy, rude or indecent behavior, by using profane, vulgar or indecent language, by making insulting remarks or comments to others, by fighting, by unnecessarily congregating in groups upon any street, sidewalk or other public place to the obstruction thereof or to the annoyance of other persons lawfully there being, or consume any alcoholic beverages in public, or by unnecessarily doing or performing any other disorderly thing whatsoever that shall disturb the peace or quiet of any family, neighborhood or any of the inhabitants of the Borough.
Any person who violates the provisions of this article shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty, of the Code of the Borough of Wallington.
