For purposes of this Article, a garage, yard, basement or porch
sale shall be any sale of household or miscellaneous goods or items
sold or offered for sale by an individual or an organization at a
location, inside or outside, which such location is not a commercial
enterprise.

No person or organization shall conduct, hold, have, cause to
be conducted or shall allow any garage, yard, basement or porch sale
to be conducted upon his/her or its property within the City limits
of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, for more than seventy-two (72) consecutive
hours nor more frequently than one (1) seventy-two (72) hour period
in any ninety (90) day period.

No such garage, yard, basement or porch sale shall be conducted
in a manner to cause a nuisance or disturbance to the general public
by unusual noise, filth, blocking of vehicular or pedestrian traffic,
or other reason.

All goods offered for sale at any such garage, yard, basement
or porch sale shall, at the expiration of the sale period, be removed
from public view and shall not thereafter be sold except as provided
herein.
