A. 
The International Plumbing Code 2018, as published by the International Code Council, is hereby adopted and incorporated by specific reference thereto as if fully set out herein for the purpose of establishing minimum plumbing standards for the design and installation of plumbing systems, including sanitary and storm drainage, sanitary facility, water supplies, storm water and sewer disposal within the City. A copy of said code shall be on file in the office of the City Clerk and the office of the Plumbing Inspector and reference there to shall be had as often as may be necessary to determine the provisions thereof.
B. 
There is further adopted and incorporated herein by specific reference thereto, as if fully set out herein, a Poplar Bluff Plumbing Code. Such code is filed in the office of the City Clerk and the office of the Plumbing Inspector and reference thereto shall be had as often as may be necessary to determine the provisions thereof.
C. 
In the event of any conflict between the provisions of such Plumbing Code and the provisions of the Poplar Bluff Plumbing Code or this Code of Ordinances or State law, the provisions of the Poplar Bluff Plumbing Code, this Code of Ordinances or the State law shall prevail and be controlling.

A. 
The Plumbing Code adopted in Section 500.060 is hereby amended as follows:
1. 
Section 101.1: City of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
2. 
Section 106.6.2: Fee schedule. The fee schedule for required plumbing permits is found in Section 525.320 of the City Ordinances of the City of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
3. 
Section 108.4: Deleted in its entirety and replace with the following: Any person who shall violate any provision of the code adopted in this Article or shall fail to comply with any of the requirements thereof or who shall erect, construct, alter or repair a building or structure in violation of an approved plan of or directive of the Code Official, or of a permit or certificate issued under the provision of this code, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment not exceeding ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment. Each day that a violation continues after due notice has been served shall be deemed a separate offense.
4. 
Section 108.5: Replace with the following: "Stop work orders. Upon notice from the code official that plumbing work is being performed contrary to the provisions of this code or in a dangerous or unsafe manner, such work shall immediately cease. Such notice shall be in writing and shall be given to the owner of the property, or to the owner's authorized agent, or to the person doing the work. The notice shall state the conditions under which work is authorized to resume. Where an emergency exists, the code official shall not be required to give written notice prior to stopping the work. Any person who shall continue any work on the system after having been served with a stop work order, except such work as that person is directed to perform to remove a violation or unsafe condition, shall be liable for a fine of not more than five hundred dollars ($500.00)."

Section 109: Deleted in its entirety and replaced with Chapter 405, Article VI, Section 405.330, Board of Adjustment of the City of Poplar Bluff Code of Ordinances.
B. 
Sewer Lines.

1. 
Commercial And Institutional. Sewer lines shall be cast iron pipe or solid core SCH 40 PVC under buildings and under parking lots. Sewer lines may transition to SCH 40 PVC outside of the building and under other surfaces at a cleanout.
2. 
Residential Buildings. Sewer service lines shall be SCH 40 PVC or cast iron.
3. 
All non-metallic sewer lines shall have a coated metallic tracer wire installed with and attached to the pipe.
