Chapter 181 of the Code of the Borough of Brentwood is hereby amended to include in its entirety the five-year Street Rehabilitation and Maintenance Plan" attached as Exhibit A.[1]

It is understood that the five-year Street Rehabilitation and
Maintenance Plan shall be amended annually by adoption of a resolution
to amend by a majority vote of the Borough Council.
The express purpose of this chapter is to create and include Chapter 181 of the Code of the Borough of Brentwood as described in this chapter. All of the remaining sections of the Code shall not be changed as a result of this chapter. In the event that any of these revisions or any section of the chapter are found to be illegal, unconstitutional, or unenforceable, then the specific intent of the Borough Council of the Borough of Brentwood is to enforce the remaining portions of the chapter.
All prior resolutions or motions pertaining to street rehabilitation
and/or maintenance are hereby repealed in whole or in part to the
extent they are inconsistent herewith.
The provisions of this chapter shall take effect upon enactment.
