All City elections shall be conducted and held in conformance
with the provisions of Chapter 115, RSMo., and shall be conducted
by the St. Louis County Board of Election Commissioners, subject to
such rules and regulations as such Board shall enact for the conduct
of elections consistent with the laws of the State of Missouri.

An election shall be held on the first (1st) Tuesday after the
first (1st) Monday of April, for the offices of Mayor, Board of Aldermen,
and such other offices to be filled by election. The Mayor shall serve
a term of two (2) years and until his/her successor is elected and
qualified. The Board of Aldermen shall, by ordinance, divide the City
into not less than two (2) Wards, and two (2) Aldermen shall be elected
by the qualified voters of each Ward. At the first (1st) such election,
the person receiving the highest number of votes in each Ward shall
hold his/her office for two (2) years, and the person receiving the
next highest number of votes shall hold his/her office for one (1)
year. Thereafter, each Ward shall elect annually one (1) Alderman,
who shall hold his/her office for two (2) years.

Any person who desires to become a candidate for an elective
City office at the general City election shall file with the City
Clerk, not prior to the hour of 8:00 A.M. on the seventeenth (17th)
Tuesday prior to nor later than 5:00 P.M. on the fourteenth (14th)
Tuesday prior to the next City municipal election, a written declaration
of his/her intent to become a candidate at said election. The City
Clerk shall keep a permanent record of the names of the candidates,
the offices for which they seek election, and the date and time of
their filing, and their names shall appear on the ballots in that
order.

The City Clerk shall on or before the seventeenth (17th) Tuesday
prior to an election at which City offices are to be filled by said
election, notify the general public of the opening filing date, the
office or offices to be filled, the proper place for filing and the
closing filing date of the election. Such notification may be accomplished
by legal notice published in at least one (1) newspaper of general
circulation in the City.

The City Clerk shall forward to the St. Louis County Board of
Election Commissioners the names of all candidates to be placed on
the official ballot. The Clerk shall also certify to the St. Louis
County Board of Election Commissioners compliance with public notice
for the holding of such election prior to the election. The dates
upon which such certification shall be forwarded to the St. Louis
County Election Board shall be determined by the St. Louis County
Election Board pursuant to existing State law.

All persons who are registered voters of St. Louis County, residing
in the City of Green Park, and who have so resided therein for sixty
(60) days next preceding an election, who have attained the age of
eighteen (18) years, have resided in the State of Missouri for one
(1) year and are otherwise qualified under the Constitution and laws
of the State of Missouri, shall be deemed qualified and entitled to
vote at all elections of the City of Green Park.

A.
The
City of Green Park shall be divided into three (3) wards established
within the City and two (2) Aldermen shall be elected from each ward.
B.
The
ward lines within the City are depicted and designated on the Official
Map, which is on file in the City offices, incorporated herein, as
the ward election districts for the election of the Aldermen of the
City and for such other purposes of which ward boundaries shall be
recognized.
