The corporate boundaries of the City shall be as designated
by the Official Map of the City on file in the office of the City
Clerk.

A.
The
Seal of the City shall be so designed and engraved as to represent
by its impression the following: On the outer portion the words, "City of Caruthersville, Missouri"; and on the center of
the same, the word "Seal". The Seal shall be circular
and not more than two (2) inches in diameter.
B.
The
City Clerk shall keep the Seal of the City in his/her office, and
shall affix it to all instruments of writing whenever required by
ordinances, resolutions or order of the City Council, or on the requisition
of the Mayor.
C.
The
City Clerk shall affix the Seal of the City to copies of all records
and documents.
D.
No
impression of the Seal upon a document shall be valid unless it is
attested to by the City Clerk, and only when duly authorized by law.
E.
No
person shall use the Seal wrongfully, fraudulently and without legal
authority.
