The purpose of this District is to encompass the retail, service,
and office area of the central business district and permit a wide
variety of uses to provide basic trade and services to Caruthersville
and the area surrounding the City. This District is intended to provide
a centralized location for trade and service activities having regional
influence. The regulations set forth in this Article or set forth
elsewhere in this Chapter, when referred to in this Article are the
regulations in the "B-2" Central Business District.

A.
A building
or premises shall be used only for the following purposes:
1.
Any use permitted in the "B-1" General Business District.
2.
Private clubs and lodges.
3.
Laboratories, research, experimental or testing.
4.
Hotels.
5.
General service and repair establishments including dyeing or cleaning
works, or laundry, plumbing and heating, printing, painting, upholstering
or tin-smithing.
6.
Accessory buildings and uses.
7.
Auto repair garage, but shall not include rebuilding, dismantling,
or storage of wrecked or junked automobiles.
8.
Food storage lockers.
9.
Stores for conduct of retail business.
10.
Printing shops.
11.
Auto sales lot.
12.
Farm implements, sale and repair.

The height and area regulations set forth in Article XIV shall be observed.

Off-street parking spaces shall be provided in accordance with the requirements for specific uses set out in Article XV.
