A.
The polling place for all elections shall be at the
City Hall unless an alternate location is established by a resolution
adopted by Common Council no later than 30 days prior to an election.
The rules for provision of voting booths, ballots and election officials
and all of the rules for conduct of elections in Chs. 5 through 12,
Wis. Stats., shall apply to the elections in the City of Lodi.

B.
The compensation of election officials shall be fixed
by the Council from time to time but shall not be less than $5 per
day.
C.
Primary election. Whenever three or more candidates
file nomination papers for a City office, a primary election to nominate
candidates for the office shall be held.
D.
The polls at all elections after the February 1999
election shall be open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
E.
The provisions in this section pertaining to election
officials are created pursuant to § 7.30(1), Wis. Stats.
There shall be split shifts to allow two or more sets of election
officials to work at different times on election day at the polling
place. The City Clerk may establish different working hours for different
election officials. Additionally, a reduction to not less than three
officials, or an increase of officials shall be appointed, as determined
sufficient by the City Clerk, to maintain adequate staffing of the
polling place.
