The term of office of the Village Mayor, commencing with the first day of the official Village year beginning April 1999, shall be four years.
The term of office of the Village Trustees, commencing with the first day of the official Village year beginning April 1999, shall be four years.
The term of office of the Village Clerk/Treasurer, commencing with the beginning of the Village official year in April 1999, shall be four years.
A. 
Henceforth, Village elections shall be held biannually in odd-numbered years, and all elected officials of the Village of Camillus shall be elected to terms of four years, except as hereinafter provided.
B. 
If the term of any elected official in office at the time of the effective date of this chapter expires in an even-numbered year, then an election shall be held in such year and there shall be elected to such office a successor for a five-year term to commence upon the expiration of the term of such incumbent, and the successors of such officials so elected shall be elected for terms of four official years.
This chapter is adopted pursuant to § 3-302 of the Village Law of the State of New York. This chapter is subject to a thirty-day permissive referendum and is effective only upon filing with the Secretary of State.
