In accordance with the specific powers of the Borough, as set
forth in Section 1202(26) of the Borough Code:
A.Â
All members of the Upland Borough Council and the Mayor and their
dependents shall be entitled to hospitalization, dental and major
medical insurance coverage as provided by the Borough of Upland to
eligible Borough employees.
B.Â
The Borough Council shall determine, on an annual basis, what percentage
of the premiums for such coverage shall be paid by the Borough.
C.Â
The Borough shall have the right to change insurance carriers and
their terms of coverage.
As used in this article, the following words shall be construed
to have the meanings indicated herein.
A spouse, a natural biological or lawfully adopted child
who is under the age of 18 or between the ages of 18 and 26 years
of age and lives in the residence of the employee or is a full-time
student.
