GENERAL REFERENCES
Loitering — See Ch. 125.
Any person who, with intent to provide a breach of peace whereby a breach of peace may be occasioned, commits any of the following acts, shall be deemed to have committed the offense of disorderly conduct:
A. 
Use of offensive language, conduct or behavior. Uses or indulges in offensive disorderly, threatening, abusive or insulting language, conduct or behavior.
B. 
Annoys or disturbs others. Acts in such manner as to annoy, disturb, interfere with, obstruct or be offensive to others.
C. 
Unlawful assembly. Congregates with others on a public street, sidewalk, part or place and refuses to move on when ordered by police.
D. 
Causes crowd to collect. By his action causes a crowd to collect, except when lawfully addressing such a crowd.
E. 
Shouts or makes noise. Shouts or makes any other noise outside or inside a building during the nighttime to the annoyance or disturbance of any considerable number of persons.
F. 
Interferes with others. Interferes with any person in any place by jostling against such person or unnecessarily crowding him or by placing a hand in proximity of such person's pocket, pocketbook or handbag.
G. 
Lewd conduct. Frequents or loiters about any public place soliciting men for the purpose of committing a crime against nature or other lewdness.
H. 
Annoys pedestrians. Stands on sidewalks or street corner and makes insulting remarks to or about passing pedestrians or annoys such pedestrians.
I. 
Unlawful use of municipal property. Makes use of any municipal property including parks or stadiums or conducts himself in a manner contrary to any posted notices, rules or regulations of the Village or refuses to obey the orders of any person or persons in authority with respect to the use of or conduct in or with respect to such property.
Any violation of this chapter or parts thereof shall constitute disorderly conduct. Any person found to be in violation of the provisions of this chapter may be assessed a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $250 or imprisoned for a term not to exceed 15 days or both such fine and imprisonment.
