No person shall park a vehicle for longer than the time shown upon
any of the following described streets or parts of streets:

Any person convicted of a violation of this provision shall for the
first conviction be punishable by a fine of not more than $25; for
a second conviction within 18 months a fine of not more than $50;
and upon a third or subsequent conviction within 18 months of the
first conviction a fine of not more than $100 or by imprisonment of
15 days or by such fine and imprisonment.
