The Board of Health of the Borough of Bristol, as established
by ordinance of September 11, 1893, and the ordinance of August 16,
1956 (Ord. 511), as well as the position of Health Officer of the
Borough of Bristol, are hereby abolished, effective immediately.

The functions of said Board of Health and Health Officer are
hereby, to the extent authorized by law, transferred and assigned
and delegated to the Bucks County Department of Health, its successors
and assigns.

The functions of said Board of Health and Health Officer, to
the extent that they relate to enforcement of the Plumbers Code, sewerage
regulations, and the like, are hereby transferred and delegated to
the Plumbing Inspector.

Nothing in this Part shall be deemed to diminish or affect the
power and authority of other proper Borough officials to take appropriate
action to abate or punish nuisances, dangerous structures or conditions,
and the creation or maintenance thereof.
