The Board of Supervisors of the Township of East Nottingham hereby signifies its intention to join with the Borough of Oxford, Township of West Nottingham, and Township of Lower Oxford, all situated in Chester County, in the creation of a joint sewer authority, under the provisions of the Municipality Authorities Act of 1945, Act of May 2, 1945, P.L. 382, as amended, to be named "Oxford Area Sewer Authority" (the "Authority").

The Articles of Incorporation of said Authority in substantially the form attached to this Part, labeled "Exhibit A"[1] and incorporated herein by reference, are hereby approved and adopted.

Those members of the Board of said Authority, who are named in the aforesaid Articles of Incorporation as being appointed by this Municipality, are hereby specifically appointed members of said Board for the terms set forth after their respective names and commencing on the date of appointment and computed from the first day of January, 1991.

The Chairman or Vice Chairman of the Board of Supervisors is hereby authorized and directed to execute said Articles of Incorporation on behalf of the Township with such changes therein as the signor may approve, and the Secretary or Assistant Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to affix thereto and attest the seal of said Township. Said officers are further authorized and directed to cause a notice of intention to file said Articles of Incorporation to be published as required by law and to file said Articles of Incorporation together with a certified copy of this Part and required proofs of publication with the Secretary of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and to take all such other action and to do all other acts as they may deem necessary or appropriate to establish said Authority and to carry out the intention of this Part, including payment of a pro rata share of any publication or filing fees necessary in connection therewith.

The adoption of this Part is deemed necessary for the benefit of the preservation of the health, peace, comfort, and general welfare of the citizens of this Municipality.
