A.
No person
except a Township employee or authorized person, shall open or close
any hydrants, valves, or curb boxes. Any person who violates this
provision is subject to a fine up to $1,000.

For any after-hour emergency, which requires personnel to report
in, the costs (time and material) will be charged to the water rate
payer. This includes items which are a result of failure to maintain
the property, such as but not limited to freezing and curb box turnoffs/turn-ons
for service breaks or building inside work.
