A. 
Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 4:19-15.12, the owner of any dog of licensing age shall pay an annual license fee of $15 (if spayed/neutered) or $18 (if not spayed/neutered) for each dog. These fees include the registration fee of $1 and the pilot clinic fee of $0.20.
B. 
All licenses and registrations shall expire on January 31 of each year succeeding the calendar year for which licensed.
C. 
All fees shall be due and payable no later than January 31 of each and every year except for dogs of licensing age acquired after January 31, in which case the fees shall be payable within 10 days of the date of acquisition or the date of attaining licensing age. The full fee shall be payable without proration for any calendar year or part thereof.
A. 
If the annual license fee is not paid by January 31 of the year in which the license or registration is due for each applicable dog, the owner shall be required to pay a late fee of $5 per dog for the first month's delinquency. Thereafter, the late fee shall increase to $10 per dog for each additional month the fee remains delinquent. Late fees shall be in addition to the required license fee. Notwithstanding, if no payment is made by March 31 of the year in which the license or registration is due for each applicable dog, the Township reserves the right to pursue enforcement of this article, and any fines and penalties may be imposed in addition to the late fees described herein.
B. 
A late fee shall not apply to dogs acquired by the owner after January 31 in a given year.
Any person found in violation of any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a fine not exceeding $500. Each day a violation continues after the time required for the abatement thereof shall constitute a separate offense.
