A. 
The Borough hereby adopts the following image as its common seal, and the image shall hereinafter be recognized as the "Official Seal of the Borough of Chambersburg," and may be referred to as the "Borough Seal," "Borough Logo" or "Chambersburg Corporate Seal":

In addition to its appearance in full color, the seal shall be authorized to appear as follows:

C. 
The Borough may modify the Official Seal of the Borough of Chambersburg by resolution from time to time.
A. 
The Official Borough Seal shall only be used by authorized Borough officers, officials, personnel, agents, and assigns for official business or for other purposes as the Borough Manager deems appropriate or through official action of the Town Council.
B. 
Pursuant to Borough Code, 8 Pa.C.S.A. § 1111(2), the Borough Secretary shall have custody of the Official Borough Seal.
C. 
No person except for those expressly authorized in Subsection A above shall display, reproduce, or otherwise use the Official Borough Seal for any purpose without first obtaining prior written approval from the Borough Manager, Borough Secretary, or their designee.
The Borough of Chambersburg Police Department hereby adopts the following image as its official seal, and the image shall hereinafter be recognized as the "Official Seal of the Borough of Chambersburg Police Department," and may be referred to as the "Police Department Seal," "Police Department Badge" or "Police Department Logo":

The Official Borough Fire Department Seal shall only be used by authorized Borough Fire Department officers, officials, personnel, agents, and assigns for official business or for other purposes as the Borough Manager or the Chief of the Chambersburg Fire Department deems appropriate, or through official action of the Town Council.
B. 
No person except for those expressly authorized in Subsection A above shall display, reproduce, or otherwise use the Official Borough Fire Department Seal for any purpose without first obtaining prior written approval from the Chief of the Chambersburg Fire Department, or the designee thereof.
A. 
Civil enforcement. Any person who violates this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a civil penalty of up to $600 per violation plus court costs and reasonable attorney fees. Each day that a violation continues shall constitute a separate offense punishable by a separate and additional penalty.
B. 
Enforcement in equity. In addition to or in lieu of the above civil penalty, the Borough may enforce this chapter through an action in equity brought in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas. In addition to any relief granted by the Court, the violator shall be liable for court costs and reasonable attorney fees.
