A. 
Certified abutters lists are requested for a variety of reasons from a variety of persons/entities. Requests for such lists must be made to the Assessor’s office on the Abutters List Request Form available on the Assessor’s page of the Town’s website.
B. 
The Board of Assessors will charge a flat fee of $25 per request for certified abutters lists no matter by whom the request is made. There will be an additional charge of $1 per page of requested mailing labels.
C. 
Town departments should ensure a process in which to collect this fee from the applicant or have the applicant request and pay directly to the Board of Assessors. The departments that request on behalf of an applicant should also have a fee structure set separately for any processing or mailing of the notices relative to the abutters list request as this policy does not address these concerns.
D. 
All certified lists will include reference to all property owners directly (including individual condominium unit owners), not associations.
E. 
The Associate Assessor shall have discretionary authority in waiving of the fee.
F. 
The Board of Assessors reserves the right to amend this policy and/or increase this fee at any time.
G. 
Noncertified abutters lists can be self-retrieved by anyone, at any time, at no cost by viewing the digital mapping program through the Assessor’s page on the Town’s website.
