The boundaries of the districts specified in § 138-5 are as defined and shown on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the Town of Southeast, New York," dated November 18, 2010, including any specified maps and boundary descriptions supplementary thereto and any amendments thereof, which Map is certified by the Southeast Town Clerk, is hereby made a part of this chapter and is hereinafter referred to as the "Zoning Map."[1]

Where a question arises concerning the exact boundary of a zoning district, the Town Board may, by resolution, determine the location of the boundary, giving due consideration, among other factors, to the indicated location of the boundary on the Zoning Map, the scale of the Zoning Map and the expressed intent and purpose of this chapter.
Where the boundary of a district divides a lot, the existence of which lot is evidenced by deed or deeds on record in the office of the Putnam County Clerk on the effective date of this chapter establishing such boundary, a use of land, buildings and other structures permitted in one district may be extended a distance of not more than 30 feet into the other district where such use would otherwise not be permitted, subject to the securing of a special permit for such extension from the Town Board in accordance with the provisions of Article X.
