In cases of injured animals and pets seized under New York State
Agriculture and Markets Rules and Regulations, 1 NYCRR 77.2 et seq.,
which required care and veterinary medicine due to injury or illness,
the Animal Control Officer is authorized to seek restitution in an
amount up to actual expenses incurred for such care at the Saratoga
County Animal Shelter or similar facility.
