There are hereby established 11 election wards in the Village as follows:
(1) 
Ward One. The area beginning at the intersection of 92nd Street and Grange Avenue, proceeding southerly along the west Village limits, then proceeding easterly along the south Village limits, then proceeding northerly along the Village limits adjacent to Root River Parkway Road, then proceeding northerly along Root River Parkway Road, to Grange Avenue, then proceeding west to the intersection of Grange Avenue and 92nd Street. The area above is included on U.S. Census Map No. PL 94-171, Tract 140100, Blocks 2008 to 2025.
(2) 
Ward Two. The area beginning at the intersection of Grange Avenue and Root River Parkway Road, then proceeding southerly along Root River Parkway Road to the adjacent south Village limits, then proceeding easterly along the south Village limits to 76th Street, then proceeding south along 76th Street to the south Village limits, then proceeding east along the southerly Village limits to STH 36 (Loomis Road), then proceeding northeast along STH 36 (Loomis Road) to Root River Parkway Road, then proceeding westerly along Root River Parkway Road to 76th Street, then proceeding north on 76th Street to Parkview Road, then proceeding east on Parkview Road to Westway, then proceeding north on Westway to Earl Avenue, then proceeding west along Earl Avenue to Exeter Street, then proceeding north on Exeter Street to Edgemont Avenue, then proceeding east on Edgemont Avenue to Westway, then proceeding north on Westway to Northway, then proceeding north along Northway to Grange Avenue, and then proceeding west on Grange Avenue to the intersection of Grange Avenue and Root River Parkway Road. The area beginning at the western intersection of Grange Avenue and Northway, proceeding east along Grange Avenue to STH 36 (Loomis Road), then proceeding southwest on STH 36 (Loomis Road) to Southway, then proceeding west on Southway to Catalpa Street, then proceeding northeast on Catalpa Street to Dendron Lane, then proceeding north on Dendron Lane to Crocus Court, then proceeding east on Crocus Court, to Broad Street, then proceeding north on Broad Street to Northway, then proceeding west on Northway to Euston Street, then proceeding south on Euston Street to Edgemont Avenue, then proceeding west on Edgemont Avenue to Westway, then proceeding northeast on Westway to Northway, and then proceeding north on Northway to the intersection of Grange Avenue and Northway. The area beginning at the intersection of College Avenue and STH 36 (Loomis Road), then proceeding southwest along STH 36 (Loomis Road) to the southerly Village limits, then proceeding easterly along the south Village limits to 51st Street, then proceeding north on 51st Street to Sycamore Street, then proceeding east on Sycamore Street to Sumac Lane, then proceeding north and east on Sumac Lane to Sycamore Street, then proceeding north on Sycamore Street to College Avenue, and then proceeding west on College Avenue to the intersection of College Avenue and STH 36 (Loomis Road). The area above is included on U.S. Census Map No. PL 94-171, Track 140201, Block 2008, and Track 140202, Blocks 3004 to 3019, and 4013.

The area beginning at the intersection of Grange Avenue and STH 36 (Loomis Road), proceeding southwest on STH 36 (Loomis Road) to College Avenue, then proceeding east on College Avenue to 51st Street, then proceeding north on 51st Street to Eastway, then proceeding northwesterly along Eastway to 51st Street, then proceeding north on 51st Street to Grange Avenue, then proceeding west on Grange Avenue to the intersection of Grange Avenue and STH 36 (Loomis Road). The area beginning at the intersection of Grange Avenue and 51st Street, then proceeding south on 51st Street to Eastway, then proceeding southwesterly on Eastway to 51st Street, continuing northeasterly on Eastway to Ramsey Avenue, then proceeding east on Ramsey Avenue to 43rd Street, then proceeding north on 43rd Street to the north Village limits, then proceeding westerly along the north Village limits, then proceeding northerly along the Village limits to Grange Avenue, and then proceeding west to the intersection of Grange Avenue and 51st Street. The area beginning at the intersection of Ramsey Avenue and 43rd Street, then proceeding west on Ramsey Avenue to Eastway, then proceeding southwesterly on Eastway to 51st Street, then proceeding south on 51st Street to College Avenue, then proceeding east on College Avenue to Sycamore Street, then proceeding south on Sycamore Street to Sumac Lane, then proceeding west on Sumac Lane to Sycamore Street, then proceeding west on Sycamore Street to 51st Street, then proceeding south on 51st Street to the south Village limits, then proceeding easterly and northerly along the Village limits to Ramsey Avenue, and then proceeding west to the intersection of Ramsey Avenue and 43rd Street. Ward Nine. The area beginning at the intersection of 68th Street and Grange Avenue, proceeding east on Grange Avenue to STH 36 (Loomis Road), then proceeding northeast on STH 36 (Loomis Road) to the north Village limits, proceeding northerly and westerly along Village limits to 68th Street, and then proceeding south on 68th Street to the intersection of 68th Street and Grange Avenue. The area above is included on U.S. Census Map No. PL 94-171, Tract 140201, Blocks 1000 to 1010, 1013 to 1015, and 3000 to 3004.

Ward Ten. The area beginning at the intersection of 84th Street and Grange Avenue, then proceeding east on Grange Avenue to 68th Street, then proceeding north on 68th Street to the north Village limits, then proceeding westerly along the Village limits to Forest Home Avenue, then proceeding southwest on Forest Home Avenue to Kelly Place, then proceeding southeast on Kelly Place to 92nd Street, then proceeding east on Westlake Drive to Woodbridge Drive, then proceeding southeasterly along Woodbridge Drive to Westlake Drive, then proceeding northeast on Westlake Drive to Woodgate Drive, then proceeding east on Woodgate Drive to 84th Street, and then proceeding south on 84th Street to the intersection of 84th Street and Grange Avenue. (11) 
Ward Eleven. The area beginning at the intersection of STH 36 (Loomis Road) and Grange Avenue, then proceeding east on Grange Avenue to the east Village limits, then proceeding northwesterly along the Village limits to 51st Street, then proceeding north on 51st Street to the north Village limits, then proceeding westerly along Village limits to STH 36 (Loomis Road), and then proceeding southwest on STH 36 (Loomis Road) to the intersection of STH 36 (Loomis Road) and Grange Avenue. The area above is included on U.S. Census Map No. PL 94-171, Tract 140202, Blocks 1000 to 1004.

Polling places for the Village election wards shall be as follows:
(1) 
Wards One, Two, Three, Four, Nine and Ten: Greendale High School, 6801 Southway.
(2) 
Wards Five, Six, Seven, Eight and Eleven: Highland View School, 5900 South 51st Street.

(a) 
The Municipal Board of Absentee Ballot Canvassers shall be composed of the Municipal Clerk, or a qualified elector of the municipality designated by the Clerk, and two other qualified electors of the municipality appointed by the Clerk for a term of two years commencing on January 1 of each odd-numbered year. The municipality may appoint additional inspectors under § 7.30(2)(a), Wis. Stats., to assist the absentee ballot board of canvassers in canvassing absentee ballots under this section.
(b) 
The Village of Greendale declares, in lieu of canvassing absentee ballots at polling places under § 6.88, Wis. Stats., the Municipal Board of Absentee Ballot Canvassers shall canvass all absentee ballots at all elections held in the municipality pursuant to procedures established by the state division governing elections.
(c) 
The Municipal Clerk shall give at least 48 hours' notice of any meeting under this subsection.
(d) 
The Municipal Clerk, no later than the closing hour of the polls, shall post at his or her office and on the Internet at a site announced by the Municipal Clerk before the poll opens, and shall make available to any person upon request, a statement of the number of absentee ballots that the Clerk has mailed or transmitted to electors and that have been returned by the closing hour on election day.

The Village Clerk Treasurer is authorized to establish different working hours/split shifts for the work of the election officials on election day.
