[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Great Neck Estates 10-5-1976 by L.L. No. 6-1976 (Ch. 14 of the 1981 Code). Amendments noted where applicable.]
No local law shall be adopted by the Board of Trustees except after a public hearing has been held thereon on public notice of at least three days. Such public notice shall be given by publication in the official newspaper of the Village or, where directed by resolution of the Board of Trustees, by publication in a daily newspaper having general circulation in the Village.

A. 
Section 7-706, Subdivisions 2 and 5, of the Village Law are hereby superseded in their application to the Village of Great Neck Estates, and the said provisions of the Village Law are amended to delete their content.[1]

B. 
Every zoning law and every amendment thereto (including any map incorporated therein) adopted pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be entered in the minutes of the Village Board, and a summary or abstract of any such law or amendment shall be posted at the office of the Village Clerk. Such local law or amendment shall provide for its effective date.
