Editor's Note: This Chapter 95 essentially consists of the following former Articles of Ordinance No. 24: from former Chapter I, Building Code (now Part 1), Articles I, VII-A, XXI, XXIII and XXV; from former Chapter II, Plumbing Code (now Part 2), Articles I, II, III, XIX and XXI. All other portions of Ordinance No. 24 were omitted during codification as having been superseded by the State Building Construction Code, the applicability of which was accepted 3-1-1971 by resolution of the Board of Trustees, in accordance with § 374-a of the Executive Law, effective 4-15-1971. The portions of Ordinance No. 24 which have been retained and included in this chapter relate primarily to administration and enforcement of building and plumbing regulations, which, under § 383 of the Executive Law, continues to be the responsibility of municipalities accepting State Code, in the manner prescribed by local law or ordinance.
