The use of firearms, machine guns, silencers,
switchblade knives, gravity knives, pilum ballistic knives, rifles,
shotguns, cane swords, chukka sticks, electronic dart guns, kung fu
stars, slingshots, BB guns and air rifles, all as defined in the New
York State Penal Law, is hereby prohibited in the Village of Lindenhurst.
Any violation of this chapter shall be punishable
by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000 or a term of imprisonment
not exceeding one year, or both.
