No person shall willfully and designedly make
or raise a false cry of fire or order or cause to be sounded a false
alarm of fire.

Any person, corporation or association violating
any of the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof,
be punishable by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000
or a term of imprisonment not exceeding one year, or both.
