The provisions of this article shall apply except when it is necessary to stop a vehicle to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or official traffic control device.
A. 
Except as otherwise provided under the provisions of this section, no person shall at any time on Sundays or between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays park or stand any commercial vehicle on that part or portion of any street in the Village, except a state highway, which lies within a residence district. For purposes of this subsection, a residence district shall not include or extend to that part or portion of any street or highway which adjoins and is contiguous with the property line of any parcel, fronting on such street or highway, improved by a building or structure used for any lawful business or industrial purposes.
B. 
No person shall at any time park or stand a commercial vehicle in or upon any street or part of a street in the Village designated and described in Schedule XXVII (§ 189-78), attached to and made a part of this chapter, during the hours of any day(s) specified in said Schedule XXVII.
C. 
No person shall at any time park or stand a commercial vehicle in or upon any part or portion of any MOPS facility established under Article V of this chapter and designated and described in Schedule XXV (§ 189-76) of this chapter, except as may be specifically authorized and permitted under or by any rule, order or regulation enacted pursuant to the provisions of said Article V of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XII (§ 189-63), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIII (§ 189-64), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 189-65), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
A. 
No person shall at any time park a vehicle upon any streets or parts of streets designated and described in Schedule XV (§ 189-66), attached to and made a part of this chapter, during the hours of any day(s) specified in said Schedule XV.
B. 
Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, no person shall park any vehicle upon any streets or any parts of streets located within the territorial boundaries of the Village at any time between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.

C. 
No person shall park any vehicle upon any streets or any parts of streets posted and established by rule, order or regulation adopted pursuant to the provisions of this subsection as a snow emergency route, during any period declared by the Mayor or Board of Trustees to be a snow emergency.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVI (§ 189-67) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVI, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVII (§ 189-68) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than four continuous hours, at any time, upon any of the streets of the Village or for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XVIII (§ 189-69) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule XVIII of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIX (§ 189-70) except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.
The locations described in Schedule XX (§ 189-71), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones for the use of vehicles engaged in loading or unloading merchandise or equipment. It shall be unlawful for a vehicle to park, stand or stop in a loading zone except for that time when the vehicle is actually being loaded or unloaded. All loading or unloading shall be done at the curbline, except where there is a curb cut and driveway apron, in which event a vehicle loading or unloading may do so within the building line. In any event, no vehicle, whether loading or unloading, shall park, stand or stop so that any part of the vehicle is between the building line and curbline so as to block any portion of the public sidewalk. Unless otherwise required by the provisions of said Schedule XX, the provisions of this section shall apply only between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§ 189-72), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as taxi stands.
The locations described in Schedule XXIII (§ 189-73), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as bus stops.
The locations described in Schedule XXIII (§ 189-74), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as handicapped parking zones.
