The Town Board of the Town of New Hartford desires that, in addition
to the annual fixed salary paid to the Town Attorney for all his regular performed
duties, the Town Attorney shall receive additional compensation at the rate
to be established by the Town Board plus expenses and disbursements for additional
legal services performed on behalf of the Town of New Hartford.
"Additional legal services" are defined as follows:
A.
All litigation or proceedings brought by or against the
Town of New Hartford in court or agencies other than Town Court for the Town
of New Hartford.
B.
All court appearances and appearances before agencies,
except for the Town Court for the Town of New Hartford.
D.
All certiorari matters brought about by litigation and
negotiated settlement, except for the trial and proceedings forwarded to outside
counsel.
E.
Appeals brought about or defended by the Town of New
Hartford.
F.
All matters pertaining to applications for federal, state
or other type of grants; all matters pertaining to the projects developed
with grant moneys in the Town of New Hartford.
