Effective immediately, Lower Providence Township
hereby appoints the locally-elected Tax Collector as the municipal
officer authorized to provide tax certification upon request by the
public and hereby authorizes said Tax Collector to collect such fees
as the township shall from time to time approve by resolution duly
adopted at a public meeting by a majority of the Board of Supervisors.
The Tax Collector shall receive such compensation
for providing said tax certification as shall be set by the Board
of Supervisors from time to time by resolution. The Tax Collector
shall report on the Tax Collector's monthly report to the township
the amount collected each month for each type of certification issued
during the month reported.

The Tax Collector may charge a fee not in excess
of 3% for credit card fees actually incurred by Lower Providence Township
Tax Collector for payments paid by taxpayers by credit card and the
Tax Collector may charge a fee not in excess of 1.5% for fees actually
incurred by the Lower Providence Township Tax Collector for payments
received by taxpayers via electronic check.
