Editor's Note: Former Art. VII, Per Capita Tax, adopted 6-23-1983
by Ord. No. 299, was repealed 4-16-2020 by Ord. No. 667. This ordinance
also provided for the renumbering of former Arts. VIII through XI
as Arts. VII through X, respectively.
Pursuant to the requirements of Act 104 of 2000,
the Board of Supervisors of Lower Providence Township hereby designates
and appoints the duly elected Tax Collector of Lower Providence Township
to serve as the Delinquent Tax Collector for Lower Providence Township.
The Delinquent Tax Collector so designated and
appointed by the terms of this article shall have the same powers,
rights, privileges, duties and obligations as those set forth in § 6-686
of the Public School Code of 1949, 24 P.S. § 6-686.
