Township of New Garden, PA Article I Organization

§ 24-1 Establishment: membership.

There is hereby created the New Garden Township Open Space Review Board, which shall consist of seven members who are residents of New Garden Township appointed by the Board of Supervisors of New Garden Township.

§ 24-2 Terms.

A. The term of membership shall be three years, except as originally established herein.

B. The initial members of the Open Space Review Board shall be appointed to terms of office as follows:

(1) One member for a term to expire December 31, 2008.

(2) Two members for a term to expire December 31, 2007.

(3) Two members for a term to expire December 31, 2006.

§ 24-3 Organization of the Open Space Review Board.

The Open Space Review Board shall set a time and place for its meetings and organize by electing a Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary and run its meeting in accordance with Robert's Rules of Order. All meetings will be properly advertised in accordance with statutory regulations, including but not limited to the "Sunshine Act." Minutes of the meeting will be taken and preserved in the Township Building.

§ 24-4 Compensation and reimbursement of expenses.

All members of the Board shall serve without compensation but may be reimbursed for necessary and reasonable expenses as preapproved by the Board of Supervisors.
